Everyone has times in their lives when things can get a little overwhelming and hard to cope with. It’s normal to feel down or worried but sometimes these feelings can get to a point where you can’t concentrate and find it hard to enjoy things that you normally find fun or relaxing – like listening to music or hanging out with friends.
It’s times like this when your emotions can be up and down and change very suddenly and the problems and issues that you can normally can deal with seem harder to handle.
Sometimes problems might be more serious, and you might feel like you can’t find your way back to being happy or your thoughts are confused or even out control and everyday activities can be more difficult to do.
If you feel like any of the above, it’s important to talk to someone you trust. Talking to a friend, family member, school counsellor telephone helpline or doctor can help.
